A brilliant product which can be used in your oil burner with each packet lasting up to 20 hits if used as instructed.
The granules are infused with scent which release their fragrance when a couple of teaspoons are placed in the dish of your lit oil burner.
There is no need for water so there is no worry of your oil burner burning dry and the granules don’t melt which means no mess!
Once the fragrance has been released the granules will loose their colour, all you do then is simply allow to cool and empty into your bin.
The type of oil burner seems to have an effect on the strength of the fragrance released from the granules; a smaller burner i.e. the candle close to the dish, produces a strong fragrance whilst a larger burner produces a softer fragrance over a longer period of time. If you feel the fragrance is trailing off, stir the granules in the dish with a heat resistant implement and a further burst of fragrance will be released.
The 200gm packets will last for at least 20 hits, if used sensibly. Once I tried placing loads of granules in my oil burner, however, I found that because the lower granules were ‘drowned’ the fragrance did not release as well– less is definitely more with this product.
