Here are our answers to some frequently asked questions that we hope will assist you in making your purchase with us.
How do I pay?
Credit/Debit card or personal cheque is currently the payment methods Candle Lite Living Ltd accept. By entering your details at the check out stage you authorise us to debit your card with the total cost of the products selected and delivery costs. Any refunds made in respect of returns or cancellation will be made to the same card. Candle Lite Living Ltd reserve the right to cancel any order that we suspect may be fraudulent.
What about credit card security?
Candle Lite Living Ltd use Paypal and NoChex as our secure payment processors. All transactions take place on Paypal’s / NoChex Secure Servers and Candle Lite Living Ltd have no access to credit card numbers submitted at the check out stage.
What do I need if I return some goods?
If you wish to return a product purchased from us, you may do so within 14 working days of receiving the product, by contacting by emailing sales@candleliteliving.co.uk, to obtain authorisation. Failure to do so may result in unnecessary delays in the refund or exchange of your goods. Please include your order number to enable us to trace the order. We will refund the price of the product and any delivery costs charged.
How much are your delivery charges and how long will it take?
Items are aimed to be despatched within 48 hours of payment being received. Standard delivery for UK mainland normally takes 2 -3 working days from date of dispatch, but please allow 5 working days prior to contacting us to chase your delivery. For out of stock items please allow a maximum of 21 days delivery (you will be advised if this is the case).
Candle Lite Living Ltd has a policy of not profiting from postage charges Therefore each item is weighed, 10p is added for packing and the cost is what you are charged. The maximum charge for postage will be £2.95, the minimum is 65p (unless the items states Free P&P) . For orders over £65, postage and packaging are also free. The more you order the higher the weight so the overall cost of posting each item is reduced.
We obtain proof of posting for all items. Items are always sent in a secure parcel designed for the item being sent. Should your item go missing, I can forward to you the proof of posting to make your own claim; otherwise it can take up to 4 weeks to receive a refund from Royal Mail.
For overseas orders, an additional charge will apply. If this is the case we will contact you for your approval.
